Well, we're off to a snowy start in December and having school closing back up plans, boots, gloves, and all of the winter gear ready for school mornings.

Hope everyone is staying safe and warm this week-lots of fun activities planned to keep us entertained anyway.

First up:  make sure to stop in and peruse the book sale listed below.  There are always good bargains and who can resist a homebaked treat.

HOLIDAY USED BOOK SALE  - Friends of the Plattsmouth Public Library will be holding their Used Book Sale and Christmas Bake Sale December 11-13th:  Friday 9am-5pm, Saturday 9am-4pm, and Sunday 1pm-4pm in the Library auditorium.  They have hundreds of books ready for holiday giving and winter reading.  Prices start at 50 cents a book.

TERRY LITTLE'S ACOUSTIC CHRISTMAS- Come enjoy Holiday musical selections with Terry at the Church of the Holy Spirit on Saturday, 12/12 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.  Anything he sings is great with me and I am sure this evening will be a meaningful reflection of the season as well as an uplifting evening.

COOKIE EXCHANGE: Hosanna Lutheran Church will be hosting this event this Saturday, 12/12 starting at 9:00 a.m.  (Is there anything better than a homemade Christmas Cookie?)

PETS FOR ADOPTION:  The Plattsmouth Journal's Animal Corner featured 1 adorable dog and 3 beautiful cats last week that are available for adoption.  Please call Officer Sue Baker at 296-8235 for more information.

See you all next week or out and about somewhere!
