The Otoe County Genealogical Society will host its January 12th meeting at 7:00pm at the Linden View Assisted Living Facility at 1720 Linden Street in Syracuse. This will be a society planning meeting and will center on planning out the society’s activities for 2012. So if you are interested in researching your family’s history, or would like to assist with community-based projects, then please come join us at Linden View on the 12th! We look forward to seeing you there!

Holiday Hours at the Library

The Plattsmouth Public Library will be closed several days over the holidays. The library will be closed Saturday, December 24, through Monday, December 26. The library will close at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 31 and will be closed on Sunday and Monday, January 1 and 2. Library staff wishes you a merry holiday season!
