What
is up in Plattsmouth, church events, special occasions and celebrations!
Use
the Classified Ads and send the details to me for the newsletter. Golf
outings, church rummage sales, school bake sales, fundraisers, new businesses,
old businesses. Tell me and everyone that subscribes about what you love
about Plattsmouth!
Nobody
had any good book suggestions and I am now in the middle of a gardening book by
Mrs. Greenthumbs. With a house on the market, there is no long term
gardening plans in the works. We spent the weekend enjoying Viking Lake
State Park in Iowa. Even in the heat, camping is still a lot of fun!
We do cheat a bit and use the air conditioner on these very humid days.
Still we were outside most of the time. It is fun to get away, but always
good to get home.
I
know St. John’s is having a golf outing at Bay Hills on August 11th I think. I will get the details. I am sure there are lots of other
fun activities going on and we are weeks away from heading to our first football
game! My family will be spending time here and there at the CASS COUNTY
FAIR. There is a lot of activity and lots of good food so take some time
out and enjoy this important event. I always enjoy going to county fairs,
and each one has its own something special. Enjoy the next week and drop
me a line!
