The Plattsmouth Police Department enjoyed time with students from Plattsmouth High School on February 12th during #Careerockit week, set up by the Omaha Chamber of Commerce. This experience allowed us the opportunity to speak to students about the law enforcement profession and then giving them a chance to see what it's like to be a detective by participating in a mock crime scene investigation. Students did a great job! Through collecting evidence and interviewing witnesses and suspects, they were all able to solve the crime!

Took the opportunity to relax and unwind Sunday morning. Really, we are practicing our ice skills. The ice is getting slushy on top and a little thin. If you venture out on to the ice, be extremely careful!
