Plattsmouth Police Department Thanks You

There has been a lot happening in downtown Plattsmouth over the past couple of weeks, and we want to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who did their part to help make things go smoothly.
A great deal of planning and coordination goes into both the Plattsmouth Harvest Festival and Cruizin Main, and we’re happy to say both events were a success. We especially appreciate everyone who made sure vehicles were moved from the designated areas and helped us keep issues to a minimum as we closed down the downtown corridor for each event.
Your cooperation and understanding made a big difference in helping everything come together. Thank you for being a great community and for helping make these events successful!

Name this Trolley!

The Historic Downtown Plattsmouth Association (HDPA) is thrilled to announce the acquisition of this cute little trolley.

Many of you may not know this but Plattsmouth once had a Burlington railroad trolley that served our community and we are excited to bring this piece of history back to life.

But every Trolley needs a name and we need your help to Name Our Trolley! We are looking for names that represent our community with a nod to our rich history here and throughout Cass County.

Fill out the form using the link below. We plan to announce a winner during the Creative Arts Fair on October 3rd, so get your entries in soon. There will be a $100 cash prize for the winner!

HDPA purchased the Trolley for use during special events like the Steampunk Festival, It's Fall Y'all - Featuring the Creative Arts Fair and Victorian Christmas in Main as Ollie the Trolley will no longer service our area. We plan to share the trolley with other Plattsmouth non-profits, agencies and Cass County communities our area.

Funding for this trolley was secured through grants from the Midlands Community Foundation, Cass County Tourism, HDPA funds, and private donations and the Trolley is 100% owned and operated by HDPA
