Rummage and garage sale season is in full swing-so check out those bargains. This weekend is the Presbyterian Church Women's Rummage Sale starting on Thursday, June 10th through Saturday, June 12th. The church is located at 701 Chicago Avenue and the sale is in the Church Education Building.
There are 2 Big Events in town next weekend starting on Friday night, June 18th with "Motorcycles on Main" from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. So "cruise" up and down Main Street to check out the many bikes that will be here. This is a great way to spend a summer evening enjoying the outdoors and seeing all your neighbors.
Here is a schedule of events for Sunday, June 20th in Rhylander Park. I am volunteering that day to help with the games from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. so bring the kids down to play marbles, jacks, three legged races, among others. No batteries, electricity, or game cartridges required! There will also be croquet for the grown ups but they are also welcome to try their hand at their childhood favorites too.
