Holiday Hours at the Library
The library will close at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 31 and will be closed on Sunday and Monday, January 1 and 2. Library staff wishes you a merry holiday season!
Get to Know Your Nook or Kindle at the Library
Did you get a Nook or Kindle for Christmas? Are you unsure of how to get started? Come to the Plattsmouth Public Library on Thursday, December 29, and we’ll help you get familiar with your new e-reader and show you how to download free library e-books from Overdrive. Drop in anytime from 10 am-noon or 2:00-4:00 pm. We’re here to help you expand your love of books to a love of e-books!
The Otoe County Genealogical Society will host its January 12th meeting at 7:00pm at the Linden View Assisted Living Facility at 1720 Linden Street in Syracuse. This will be a society planning meeting and will center on planning out the society’s activities for 2012. So if you are interested in researching your family’s history, or would like to assist with community-based projects, then please come join us at Linden View on the 12th!
