Plattsmouth Police Department
We’re proud to share that our department has added a new life-saving tool to our patrol vehicles. Officer Siemonsma has worked with several resources to secure a LifeVac for every patrol car on the Plattsmouth Police Department and the Cass County Sheriff's Office - NE
Thanks to the incredible generosity of Maverick's Legacy, who donated 10 units, and additional funds donated by Main Street Jewelers, DC's Waterhole and First State, we’ve been able to equip all of our cruisers with a LifeVac. Additionally, Mavericks Legacy donated units for each of Plattsmouth’s 4 public school buildings.
LifeVac is an airway clearance tool designed to assist in choking emergencies when other methods aren’t effective. Having this tool readily available gives our officers another option to help save lives when seconds matter most!
We are extremely grateful for the support from Mavericks Legacy and our community for helping make this possible. Your support directly impacts the safety and well-being of those we serve!
