The Cass County Historical Museum hosts a “brown bag” lunch twice a month at the museum.  This very popular program is free and features interesting speakers, just bring your lunch and enjoy.  The museum provides drinks and dessert to round out the menu.   On Tuesday, October 14, at 12:00 noon, the speaker is Dan Ries, giving a talk about the history of photography.

Then on Tuesday, October 28, the speaker will be me about Raymond Chandler and Dashiell Hammett to tie with The Big Read program at the library. I have been lucky enough to speak one time before and enjoyed it very much.  The crowd was very attentive and receptive, I am looking forward to speaking there again.
